How It Should Have Ended, also called HISHE (pronounced his-he), is a YouTube channel that makes videos about alternate endings to movies, video games, and, once, a TV show episode.


How It Should Have Ended began after Daniel Baxter and Tommy Watson started discussing alternate endings for a movie they have watched. In 2005 their first animation How Matrix Revolutions Should Have Ended was completed and soon after in July, 2005 the website was established. Tina Alexander, who has previously worked with Daniel, joined the team shortly thereafter.

HISHE was awarded the "Best Internet Parody" award for How Superman Should Have Ended by Spike TV at the 2006 Scream Awards at the Pantages Theater Hollywood, California. and was featured in an MTV Comedy and Talent Showcase at the Hollywood Improv. It has also been featured as a Yahoo! Profile Pick and has appeared in both Fade In and Wired magazines.

On March 5, 2007, HISHE was launched on YouTube as HISHEdotcom. It has attracted notable appearances such as Stan Lee himself in the parody of The Amazing Spider-Man.

On March 7, 2007, HISHE uploaded a video called, "How Superman Should Have Ended". This video introduced the "Super Café", a café for superheroes. On February 2, 2012, HISHE uploaded the first video in the Super Café series, called, "Super Café: Super Social Network.

In September 2009, How It Should Have Ended joined Starz Digital Media which now handles all licensing.

In April 2010, How It Should Have Ended was awarded the Streamy Award for Best Animated Web Series at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

On June 30, 2013, a video was uploaded on TheFineBros channel which features the Teens React teens watching How Lord of the Rings Should Have Ended, How Harry Potter Should Have Ended, and How The Hunger Games Should Have Ended.

In November 2013, Batman and Superman from "Super Café" guest starred in the Nostalgia Critic's review of Man of Steel, at the end of the episode where The Critic parodies Super Café.

On December 18, 2013, HISHE uploaded a video called, "How Thor The Dark World Should Have Ended". At the end of this video, it introduced, "The Villain Pub", a pub for villians. On June 4, 2014, HISHE uploaded the first video in the Villain Pub series, called, Villain Pub - To Battle!!!.


How It Should Have Ended

How It Should Have Ended is the first and most prominent series on the channel. In the series, movies, video games, and one Doctor Who episode get alternate endings.

Super Café

Super Café is a the second series on the channel. The series about a place called, "Super Café". It features Batman and Superman, along with other superheroes, talking about things. In every episode, Batman says, "I'm Batman", at least once.

Villain Pub

Villain Pub is the third series on the channel. The series is about a place called, "The Villain Pub", where villains talk about things.
